David Lee has established a successful career as a creative and versatile visual  artist with over 30 years of experience providing his clients with exceptional  photography services.

As a Unit Stills Photographer on productions such as Condor, Murdoch Mysteries, The Lost Symbol, Wolf, Conviction, Guillermo del Toro Presents, Dark Matter, M. C. J. Walker , Defiance and more, he has rapidly and successfully provided photography for a number of multinational media companies including Netflix, MGM Television, NBCUniversal, Shaftesbury, the CBC and others. He is a member in good standing of IATSE 667.

Working as a Freelance Photographer David provides event, editorial, advertis and corporate photography. His clients include Barclays Bank, Colliers International, Lava Life, Canada’s Walk of Fame, The Canadian Council of Public Private Partnerships and Pepsi Canada.

David has a background in Editorial Photography having worked with a multitude of print publications including the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, Saturday Night Magazine and The Face including twenty years with Toronto’s astounding alternative weekly, NOW Magazine.

Early photography work is archived with the Media Commons at the University of Toronto and the Theatre Archives at the The University of Guelph.

Originally, from Winnipeg now stationed in Toronto he graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours. There he worked as a civil engineering surveyor, a medical graphic artist, an audio visual technician and a roadie.

He likes to play tennis and hockey and gets along well with others.
